About the Iwakuni Cultural Exchange Center 「PLAT ABC」

　岩国市は、10人いれば1人はアメリカ 人という英語のまちです。
　この地域の特性を生かし、 「英語があふれるまち いわくに」をキャッチフレーズに、英語の学び・学び直しや国際交流の機会が充実した魅力的なまちづくり（英語交流のまちIwakuni創生プロジェクト）を推進しており、令和4年3月26日（土曜）にその交流拠点となる施設 岩国市英語交流センター「PLAT ABC」をオープンしました。

毎月、「英語」をキーワードにさまざまなイベントを開催しています。ぜひご来館ください。

Astoundingly, one out of every ten Iwakuni citizens is said to be from America.
Embracing this unique characteristics of the area, we have been striving to promote the “Creation of English Exchange Town Iwakuni Project” with a theme of “Iwakuni, a city overflowing with English” by offering ample opportunities to learn and re-learn English through international exchange.
On March 26, 2022, we opened the Iwakuni Cultural Exchange Center “PLAT ABC” as a core facility to pursue this theme.  Various events taking place every month at “PLAT ABC” are all English-related for everyone to enjoy.
