Using the subsidy for Improvement and Adjustment of Areas Surrounding Special Defense Facilities, Iwakuni city has installed street cameras at 93 locations including Iwakuni train station area for prevention of crimes and traffic accidents and for early solution of criminal cases.
With abundance of caution for privacy, video images taken by cameras will be appropriately managed and used to provide security and safety for the people in Iwakuni.

Damages to tires caused by holes on roads while driving have been reported. As a small hole that has seemingly no impact on vehicular traffic may easily get bigger in a short time due to rain or passing of large size vehicles, please keep us up to date on the abnormalities of the roads.
