A large crowd of fans came to the stadium to watch the world’s top class athletes up close. On Aug. 25, about 70 local elementary school children and WNT members got together for an exchange event to play “Janken (Rock, Paper, Scissors) “ and “Origami (Paper Folding).WNT members struggled with the unfamiliar “Origami” but managed to fold a paper into a crane assisted by children. Their challenge paid off.

On Aug.27, a scheduled exhibition game with Toyota Motor Women’s Softball Team was rained out, but they played an intra-squad game for the gathered fans instead. After the game, they kindly took their time to sign autographs for the fans. Fans got their time’s worth in this exchange event.
