● "Online Iwakuni City Hazard Map" (hereinafter referred to as 'this site' ) is a website where users are allowed access to danger-predicted areas in cases of water damage (landslide, flood, storm surge) triggered by torrential rain, tsunami and earthquake in Iwakuni with P/C and smartphone.
● Recommended browsers for this site are listed below. When the other browsers are used, some functions may be restricted;

● Being an open website, each dangerous location, land/object, boundaries of administrative districts on this site are simplified and may be slightly different from reality. 
● Data of each dangerous location is based on prediction under given conditions.The real disaster may be a lot worse than what's been predicted.
● Map/images and other content in the map in this site are displayed pursuant to Terms of Service of GoogleMap. Content in the map does not indicate the use of land or their boundaries.

＜Information on flood/storm surge＞
● Flood predicted areas are designated by Yamaguchi Pref, including the predicted range and depth of inundation in the event of flooding of rivers across the prefecture due to torrential rain under predicted conditions. 
● As this site does not display inundation caused by overflow of water from ditches and conduits, attention is needed for uncolored area, too.

＜Information on damage from landslides＞
● Landslide special warning areas and landslide warning areas are designated by Yamaguchi Pref. pursuant to " Law regarding promotion of measures to　prevent landslide in landslide warning areas, etc." (called Landslide Prevention Law.) These areas are prone to cliff collapse and debris flow that threan the lives of residents. The information on landslides is based on the result of research conducted by Yamaguchi Pref. ＜Information on earthquake＞
● Information on active faults in this site is based on predicted seismic intensities in the event of earthquake around the Iwakuni-Itsukaichi fault belt in "Predicted map of earthquake of Japan", prepared by HQ for Earthquake Research Promotion.

＜Information on tsunami＞
● Tsunami/inundation predicted area is based on the data of Nankai Trough Great Earthquake publicized in August 2012 by the Cabinet Office and detailed simulation using the topography data and designated by Yamaguchi Pref.

＜Other＞
● Due to the nature of the system, it is not appropriate to make judgement on the condition of one's own house, etc. based only on the information in "Online Iwakuni City Hazard Map". Please consult with Yamaguchi Prefecture who designates the warning areas, etc. about the "Explanation of important matters" required for real-estate transaction, etc.

＜洪水、高潮に関する情報＞
●浸水想定区域は、各河川で想定される条件での大雨が降った場合の河川氾濫時に想定される浸水の範囲と深さを山口県が指定した区域です。
●本サイトでは、溝や水路からあふれた内水による浸水は示していませんので、着色されていない区域でも注意が必要です。

＜土砂災害に関する情報＞
●土砂災害特別警戒区域及び土砂災害警戒区域は、「土砂災害警戒区域等における土砂災害防止対策の推進に関する法律」（通称、土砂災害防止法）に基づき、がけ地の崩壊や土石流が発生した場合に住民に危害が生じる恐れのある区域として山口県が指定する区域です。本サイトのがけ崩れ危険箇所、地すべり危険箇所、山地災害危険箇所は、がけ崩れや地すべり、山腹崩壊の危険性がある箇所として山口県が行った調査結果をもとに示しています。不動産の取引等の「重要事項説明」等で詳細な情報が必要な場合は、山口県岩国土木建築事務所維持管理課（0827-29-1542）へご確認ください。

＜地震に関する情報＞
●本サイトの活断層に関する情報は、国の地震調査研究推進本部により作成された「全国地震動予測地図」のうち、岩国－五日市断層帯（岩国断層区間）で地震が起きた時に断層周辺で生じる揺れの大きさを予測したものです。

＜津波に関する情報＞
●津波浸水想定区域は、内閣府が平成24年８月に公表した南海トラフ巨大地震のデータをもとに、地形データ等を加味し詳細なシミュレーションを行い山口県が指定したものです。

＜その他＞
●システムの性質上「Ｗeb版岩国市ハザードマップ」の情報だけで、各家屋等の状況を判断することは適切ではありません。不動産の取引等の「重要事項説明」については警戒区域等を指定する山口県に詳細な内容を必ず確認してください。
