Eijiro Nakagawa and Trad Jazz Company

A world-class leading Japanese Jazz trombonist, Eijiro Nakagawa and his company present their Jazz music that people of all ages can enjoy.

Eijiro Nakagawa (trombone), Yoshihiro Nakagawa (trumpet),Ken Aoki (banjo), Tsutomu Ienaka (tuba) and Koki Nando (drum).

Christmas Illumination at Airport and Lottery

Iwakuni Kintaikyo airport will be decorated with Christmas tree illumination and project mapping. The event features a lottery and you can participate in the lottery online by reading a QR code displayed at the airport.

＊A winner will be announced only by his/her nickname registered at the time of application on You-Tube channel of Young Entrepreneurs Group (YEG) of the Iwakuni Chamber of Commerce & Industry on January 20 (Thu). YEG will contact the winner by phone afterwards.

＊Car parking is free up to one hour, but the number of lots is limited.

Mikawa Mu Valley Adventure Train

Content: Taking the Nishikigawa Seiryu Line for a round trip and entering the Mikawa Mu Valley.
＊Free transportation service from Nekasa sta. to Mikawa Mu Valley

Fare: Junior high schoolers and older=3,000yen, Elementary schoolers=1,500yen

Japan-US Exchange Event- “Let’s decorate the Christmas tree!”

Make your wishes by decorating the tree with paper cranes

Place: 1st floor lobby, City Hall

Capacity: Around 6 people/each time frame (FCFS)
＊Elementary schoolers and younger need parental attendance.

Content: Decorating the tree with paper cranes and making Christmas boots

ISO paper cranes wishing for peace

Paper cranes made and donated by residents of Iwakuni base and people of Iwakuni city will decorate the Christmas tree. How about taking the time to fold some paper cranes making your own wishes.
＊After display, paper cranes will be bundled together into some 1000 paper cranes and donated to the Children’s Peace Monument in the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima.
