Help Mark is a token of compassion

Help Mark is a visible token to connect the feelings of those who are “in need of help” and those who want to “give a helping hand.”

Help Mark

           ▲Help Mark

What should I do when I see a person wearing a Help Mark?

On a train or a bus

They may appear quite healthy. But they have such problems like getting tired quickly or not being able to stand for a long time. Since these problems are not observable by others, they get stressed by being looked at by others when they are sitting at the priority seats. Your compassionate action like offering a seat is greatly appreciated.

At a station or shopping malls, et

They have difficulties going up and down the stairs, carrying the luggage or coping with emergencies like a sudden accident of transportation systems. If they seem to be in trouble, please ask them if they would need any help.

 At a time of disasters

They have difficulties getting the update or evacuating by themselves in the event of disasters due to impairment in visual, hearing or limb functions. Your assistance and support are needed for their safe evacuation.

Voices from Help Mark Bearers

   ● I start to have difficulty in breathing in a crowded environment. One day, when I was riding on a train with a Help Mark attached to my bag, I was asked by a person if I was O.K and offered a seat, which made me feel so happy.

 ● I have my asthmatic child carry Help Mark on him. One day he was helped when he had an attack. The Help Mark is just like an amulet to keep my child safe even when I’m not with him.

“Help Card” provides necessary information when in trouble

If you have a difficulty in making yourself understood in times of trouble, please write down on the card your name, point of contact in case of emergency and what kind of help you would need and carry it with you when leaving home.
